Special Note to Veteran Applicants

Former military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply and may be given priority over non-veteran applicants. Only select MOS, AFCS, and NEC, including but not limited to Military Police, will be considered for armed positions without a civilian law enforcement background. Any MOS, AFCS, and NEC outside of our current requirements will be kept on file as eligible for hire for a period of 6 months if no positions are currently available.

W.A.P.D. has occasional need of non-law enforcement personnel for unarmed security assignments where law enforcement experience is not a client requirement. Please contact us for an email address to email your resume to. Once you obtain the email address email your resume with “Unarmed Applicant” in the subject line. If you also posses military experience please include “Unarmed Applicant – Military” in the subject line and indicate your MOS, AFCS, or NEC in your resume as well (if multiple indicate all that apply). We continually accept applications and will keep those applications on file as eligible for hire for a period of 3 months if no positions are currently available.
